I love the movie but I don’t know if I’m going to read this. It’s fairly long and in skimming the first few paragraphs, I’m not really feeling the author’s style.

I jumped to the end though just to see about the warning.

Jensen goes off and stops his heart on his own, and when they find him they’re unsure how long it’s been. He comes back right at the end, though.

Well, since we've already discussed it on the main post, but this is the post whose comment count I care about, let me reiterate:

It's weird to warn for British English in a historical AU set in England, and it's weird to warn for Misha when he's mentioned in the secondary pairings and six times in the summary.

They are not together together at any time in this story.

at least the writer's making sure that people don't get disappointed by the lack of romantic J2 in the story, but i did wonder why a fic with that bolded warning was posted at padacklesrps.

Any nonnie read this one and would like to report back? I loved the Korean version but HATED the US version; part of reason was that the movie hinged on the charisma of "The Girl" (Jensen's character) and while Gianna Jun was awesome Elisha Cuthbert was not. This fic is looong and I don't want to invest my time if Jensen is a one dimensional douche.

Well, that was weird and unsettling. I haven't seen the movie, but from what I gather on wikipedia the author has changed the ending.

Anyway, Jared meets Jensen. Jensen turns Jared into a vampire. Jared is cool with that so long as he belongs to Jensen. All amidst a frat party background. Not my thing, but people who really like vampires or have a bloodplay kink may enjoy it more.

I am a little disappoint. I expected porn from the rating, but there was no real porn. Also, it had some cute scenes, but felt a little rushed overall. I kind of wonder if it was written by the nonnie who didn't have time to work on hir connective tissue.
