Art: It's not one of my favorite things when random celebrities stand in for OCs in manips. Other than that, I like the brightness and the caps that were chosen. Gabriel looks very pretty in the header.

This is some really great work. I was really impressed with how much the expression on Lucifer's face, reminded me of Lucifer on the show.

why do Cas and Gabe have dean_lips? Also I don't understand why artists shows close ups of the art in a separate file. Sure, if there're exquisite details then show us the close up, but this is certainly not the case.

Fic - I just finished this, and I thought it was quite good. Moorishflower never disappoints me with her Sam, Dean, and Gabriel characterizations, though I think her Castiel is too stilted. I liked the world-building, and bonus points for Castiel and Gabriel being pretty indifferent to each other, instead of being each other's favorite!brother! which is a trope I can do without.

Art - I liked the chapter headers. Didn't like the banner.

a tiny rant on the art, ENOCHIAN IS NOT ENGLISH, YOU CAN'T JUST REPLACE THE ALPHABET OF ONE WITH THE OTHER AND CALL THAT A DAY!! FUCK!!!

Also, the manip is crappy, I don't even want to find out why there are two Deans, and the writer is kinda bitchy re: art.

I liked this one as much as I liked the first one. I do not recommend it, however, to people who haven't read the first one. I think the first one is necessary for understanding a lot of the second.

I think the author could have picked a better title, one that wasn't overused and didn't require a disclaimer.

I'm a little weirded out by the possible foursome given that the summary says that Gabriel raises Sam and Dean. Anyone read this yet?

I really enjoyed this one! It's an AU of the "Gabriel makes bad things that happened in canon not happen" variety, and those are my secret weakness. The writing is good and the relationship has an actual build-up. I wish it hadn't ended where it did! I'm hoping for a sequel.

I thought the case part of the story was pretty good. I got the sense, though, that the author might not watch the show anymore? There was nothing in the story that seemed to indicate a specific time period, but it just read more like an early season fic. Like people assuming Sam and Dean are a couple and no Bobby or Castiel.

The characters kept mocking Sam's hair, which I think has looked good this season. Also, people kept calling Dean pretty in comparison to Sam, which I found annoying.

The story was sort of light on relationship stuff. Other than Sam having a couple of idle thoughts about wanting Dean, nothing happened relationship-wise until part five. Dean's characterization seemed off to me. He punches out a guy for having sex with Sam, which is the big clue that he has feelings for Sam, but it was OTT to me.

I enjoyed reading it, but it's not one I'd want to read a second time.

Decently written remorseful-Gabriel atones for being bad by nurturing Sam's soul from newborn to adult while trapped in Purgatory. Sweet cuddly Gabe-and-Sammy kidfic for much of it, while Gabriel learns to love and learns what Free Will is and how to make a choice when God gives him a second chance.

Which, I thought on-show Gabriel had already embraced the idea of Free Will, having run away from home eons ago, but whatever. He learns to love his little Sammy and be sorry for murdering people.

I like the last artwork, the painting, with the glowing light and wings.
