I think I'll mosey along to the X-Men First Class and/or Avengers memes.

Nope! I'm still pretty intrigued and plan on watching to see how it all comes together. I also like the idea of proactive!Sam and Dean, and a Sam and Dean who decide they want to be together and that they want to hunt. The power source sounds interesting, I'm holding out hope for Big-Bad!Bela, and I'm really curious as to what this change in Castiel is that they mentioned. Also, Kevin ♥

My last fandom was more than twenty years before Spn. I expect fandom is pretty much over for me for a good long while.

Not planning but I guess it's time to start looking for something new. This is not the show I love, sorry.
I may give TW a try, but the blatant fanservice does not please me.

Yep. I'm moving to the Avengers. I planned on seeing where this was headed, but today's spoilers spelled disaster pretty clearly. There's no doubt that the show I loved is dead.

'Sides, I hear a few interesting things that'd I like to see.

No, these spoilers are awful but there's nothing that's making me want switch fandoms at the moment. I'll probably hang around SPN and CWRPF fandoms and hope for the best from the show, but if the show on screen this fall isn't a massive improvement from what's in the spoilers it will be really easy for me to join the next fandom that catches my eye.

Nope. I've got no horse in this race. I shrug in the general direction of these spoilers.

The spoilers killed both the little creative drive I had left for this fandom and any desire to check out S8 but, IDK. I'll probably keep tracking this meme and the Sam and Dean one, and keep following Wincest/J2 people on Tumblr (though I may shift my own Tumblr more to Avengers).

My shipping interests have already mostly shifted to Thor/Loki and I also track the Avengers meme. Might check out Teen Wolf too.

I was planning on starting a thread along the lines of "How many episodes will you give Carver before deciding you're done" for people who were on the fence about the show. But after these spoilers, my personal answer would be a big fat zero so I don't see the point.

However this is the first time I've ever been done with a show without having some other fandom pulling me away and I'm rather at lost ends. I don't want a movie fandom-- closed canon doesn't appeal to me. No other TV shows or books are pulling me in. I'm rather lost.

I know you said no movie fandoms, but recently a nonnie on the off-topic post recced this incredible The Social Network fic that I think could sway anyone? I've read it too and it's just amazing.

Thorki is already my primary ship, specifically the flavor of "Thor is the most wonderful, loyal big brother in the universe and is going to bring Loki back to his senses if it takes ten thousand years, and Loki is the most twisty, tangled mess of insecurity and vanity and internalized hatred of his race and loneliness and mostly what he really needs is to see a reason to believe things could be okay again".

But these spoilers have me interested, if for no other reason than that they seem to carry the same sort of uncomfortable, painful overtones that have led to great seasons of the show in the past. I'm curious to see what's happened and what it means.

Ooh, do you wanna discuss Thorki with me? I already wrote a lot about it over on the Avengers meme, but as a writer who enjoys torturing her characters, a ship encompassing thousands of years worth of built up tension/angst between the black-haired outsider and the sun-kissed golden child is like candyland. Also, I love how Thor grabs at Loki's (sexy) neck and gets all weepy. Plus that hammer of his could come in handy should he ever want to pin Loki down and have his way with him.

You should start watching Breaking Bad. The last season starts tonight. I'm so excited! I wish I was patient enough to wait until all the episodes aired so I could watch them all in a row. But nope, I can't.

Everyone should watch Breaking Bad. But it's hard to fandom, because it is perfect.

I guess my fandom participation will be reduced to staring at gifs of Jared on Tumblr. But whatever, that's practically all it was anyway.

Perhaps I will diversify into also staring at gifs of Chris Hemsworth. Does he give good gif?

Not exactly "jumping fandom" because it doesn't happen like that with me, but the process already started happening. I started skipping episodes, I started spending more time reading fic for other fandoms (most of it my old fandom, HP, but still. I've been exploring new ones too) and spending more time on the internet doing non-SPN related stuff.

I don't care for the spoilers but I can't say if I will watch the new episodes or not. Basically either I'll feel like watching or I won't. Meanwhile, I'm kind of exploring my options. When HP was over I was desperate because I didn't know if or how I would find another fandom I could be into, but now I'm in a different mindset. It will happen when it does, there's no rush. I'll watch some stuff, read some stuff. Explore kink memes and whatnot. Eventually something will draw me in.

Meanwhile, I'm still here though I skip most threads and I still check the newsletter, the kink meme, etc. I predict I'll stop paying attention to SPN fandom once I'm fully into something else, and it will be a lot less painful than it was with Harry Potter. Thank goodness.

I won't exactly jump, but let's just say that I'm very glad that I have many different fandoms to fall back on this time. When season 5 came around, it was all Spnspnspn. Now I have new Sailor Moon episodes to look forward to (which hopefully leads to a revival of fandom... and there's just no way the reboot could disappoint me, except maybe if Haruka and Michiru's voice actors didn't return which would be such a pity because I love both their voices. Other than that, I don't care if it's closer to the manga or another motw format, I'd be very happy about both), Detective Conan is finally moving forward, new season of My Little Pony, new Legend of Korra episodes, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. I'll check out Elementary (finally a slightly more adult interest) and I think Valve is planning some new game, so I'm looking forward to that too. The only thing missing is a new bookseries.

Also, I just found out that there's a Left 4 Dead add-on that takes place in Vienna in Austria. And I live in Vienna. I've been to every single location in the games. In fact, I live in a 10 minute distance from one of them. This is going to be so awesome.
