...That would be why I put the claiming qualifier. It's a possible solution for those who didn't get to finish posting the fills that they intended to claim. For people who don't wish to claim, never got a chance to post a fill at all, and/or comment with names attached, obviously something else would have to be done.

I know that someone has suggested an "amnesty day" at Blindfold (for which I would participate myself as I never got the chance to post another fill that I did and there are some *ahem* kinks that I don't necessarily want to admit to). Other ideas have included making a sock comm for posting unposted fills or perhaps making a thread on meme for them.

If they don't go with an amnesty day, I think a meme thread would be a great idea.

You're "just sayin'" sounded kinda snooty, like claiming and reposting the completed work was the only or best option.

I was using the "Just sayin'" as something that somebody would say when they're not-so-subtly suggesting a way to subvert the system if someone else was so inclined. I suppose picture a person looking up at the sky so that they're not actually talking to anyone: "If I was... then I might...". Perhaps a "Just throwing that out there" or a "I'm just talking" would have felt more in line to you.

I can't believe this is descending into a tone argument of all things.
