I don't know about other people, but I haven't been able to load any LJ page since Sunday night, and I've been trying at irregular intervals. Forget contacting anyone if you can't even look at the page, leave alone sign in. I'm not a BB author, so nobody was bothered by my absence, but it leads to me not side-eying them at all.

Like I said, they could have had a DW mirror by now. They could have made alternate plans. It's not like this is the first time LJ has been down for a week.
