Sadly agreed. This show has the worst habit of introducing new and intriguing characters and then killing them off in pointless, senseless ways.

But it makes the disparity even more obvious when some characters just keep hanging on -- i.e. Bobby and Castiel. (And I say that as a Casfan.)

I think you've got a point, but as I'm not one of those fans and, in fact, am even a dreaded independent!boys Wincester who loves seeing Sam and Dean having and enjoying strong relationships with other characters, it does not please me. D:
