I thought the episode was OK, but was hampered by too much talking, too many plots and the short shrift given to Jody Mills and Abbadon. Who directed this? I will admit that the CGI of falling angels at the end mad up for some of the faults.

I hated the Metatron as the master manipulator - the actor is too "mooshy" to be menacing. The one thing that made me rage and yell at my TV was when Cas showed up at the church and wanted Dean to help him. Separating Sam and Dean at that critical point was so stupid and contrived. No good could come of it.

I'm glad Jody survived (presumably), but I hate what they did with her. Not that there's anything wrong with seeing her dating and looking for a relationship, but having her only appearance this season be as a slightly tipsy dupe for date!Crowley, when last season she was proactive and suspicious and badass, left a nasty taste in my mouth.

I yelled at Sam and Dean when they left Crowley alone in the church and have the talk outside (and Sam again after Crowley bit him, which is at least understandable since he has to clean the wound). It's like YOU GUYS FUCKED UP WITH ABADDON NOT TOO LONG AGO AND YOU DON'T FUCKING LEARN?

Yeah, Abaddon was just a HUGE waste, the actress has such presence and of course they have to take her out.
