Yeah, I'm starting to want fic of this hard, but all messy and dark. Like, Dean is so appalled and disturbed and violent over it at first, but it's still Sam and even though what he's done turns his stomach, there's still this instinctive part of him that can't ever turn Sam away and S3!Sam is so desperate to make Dean understand that it wasn't even a choice for him, it couldn't have been. Living without Dean simply wasn't a choice, he had to do it, and they fuck roughly and angstily and are all broken.
