March Stalker Mighty by Whit merule, one of the few WIPs I was following, it was just recently completed. I love the world building.

I've been slowly working my way through the DCBB this week. In terms of new(ish?) authors (maybe authors I'm just not familiar with), I read this one and for the most part enjoyed it. We had a conversation on the FD post about a few problems, but I thought the good outweighed the bad. Especially for a fic dealing with health issues. I know we talked about that on meme a few months ago - how it can be hard to find fic with this subject matter that isn't full of major problems. I think some of the art is really cute too; I like the one with Castiel's legs and the oxygen tank, and also the one with Dean sitting on his bed.

I read it because a sequel just got posted to spn_gen_bb, and I found I originally liked the original fic. It goes AU pre-pilot and supposes that Sam accidentally becomes a demi-god. He then spends several years staying far, far away from everything he's ever cared about. This fic is about him finding his way back. The worldbuilding was neat, and the Dean-Sam relationship was double neat.

I just saw that! It's fantastic! It reminds me of the lovely thread we had earlier in the week with Cas and Benny platonicly cuddling Dean and Dean being all annoyed about it. Cas and Benny shoving at each other across Dean jut makes it even better.

I think it probably stands alone? The first pic is Dean denying that he misses Castiel, the second pic is Dean asking his date to do something that Castiel used to do, indicating that Dean does miss him, despite his firm protestation in the first pic. It's just a little joke.
