DA - nobody's saying Dean's story is fucking awesome - it doesn't sound great, but it doesn't sound like character assassination.

I don't have nearly as much of a negative reaction to the Benny spoilers at this point, because after all the times they've worked with Crowley and Meg over the years (not to mention the alpha!vamp, ghost!Bobby, the witch-dude from this season, etc etc., working with supernatural entities when they have to has become something they do. It's not shocking or upsetting the way it was when Sam worked with Ruby, because they do it all the freakin' time. And AFAIK, Dean's not exchanging any bodily fluids with Benny, so I just don't see it as that big of a deal.
