And since I'm a Crowley fan and really loved crossroad demons, weee this made me a little bit happy.

Ugh, Crowley. I love the CRDs and I'm sorry if I harsh your squee, but I'm so sick of Crowley. There were so many other fascinating demons out there, how is Crowley the one who becomes the only recurring demon we have left aside from Meg?

ah that's fine I'm a Crowley fan but not die-hard fan. If you don't like him, that's okay.
I don't know, Ruby had a large role back then too.

I'd like to see more CRD, or demons in general, instead of angels, i.e., but I can't deny I like Crowley (and Sheppard) and I'm happy to have him as an important character.

Ruby had a big role, but that was before Crowley came on the show. In S1-S4, we had YED, Meg, Alistair, Ruby, and Lilith as major recurring characters and now there's only Crowley and Meg. I like Meg, but Crowley irks me. It's less his character and more that they keep trusting him. They make noises about how they shouldn't trust him but going back to making deals with him all the time anyway and he betrays them again each time. I get really annoyed when characters act like idiots.

I liked Cas, but most of the new angels in S5-S7 have been dull and boring. I'd prefer more demons over them too; at least the demons don't piss me off when they act petty, selfish, and obsessed with worldly concerns/references.

Oh yes, Seasons 1-4 had awesome demons, I would love to have some of those back. Well, I wouldn't because I hate when they resucite characters, but maybe some other, new demons?

While I love Crowley, I think I miss lesser demons. He's all King of Hell now, instead of a regular demon. That's why I'd love some CRD to appear again.

I'm usually pissed at Sam and Dean for trusting Crowley again and again, not so much at Crowley, heh. And I'm a big S&D fan, but yes, wth guys?

I loved angels at first, but at the end it was overwhelming and taking over everything else, to powerful. I'd prefer if they're kept to a minimun (but they don't totally disappear either), and that way other creatures have a chance to shine. I mean, a vampire seems like a tiny thing when you're destroying celestial warriors everyday, imo.

It sounds like we have very similar tastes! I loved the demons in S1-S4 best and I'm one of those who liked the idea that Purgatory might give us the option to play Ruby or Alistair again (not YED since he was killed with the Colt but the others!). New demons who have that same level of menace and gravitas would be very nice.

Heh. I get annoyed with Crowley because I blame him for Sam and Dean being continually stupid about trusting him. :D It's like they're constantly passed the Idiot Ball whenever he shows up. But I can get being pissed at them for that and not Crowley.

It was the portrayal of the angels that pissed me off. I liked it at first. S4 version of angels were AWESOME. In both senses of the word! Now they're just petty, small minded, ordinary people. IMO, Dick and his slick business schmooze would have had a better impact if they hadn't used that same trope with the angels for two seasons already.
