I've got no problem with Sam ending the show settled down with a female love interest but man, you are rubbing me the wrong way something fierce with this. The way you phrase it makes it sound like a) only Sam's happiness at the end matters to you and b) that the only possible "happy ending" is Sam settled and with a girl.

The "Sam's the only thing that matters" part is annoying but whatever, if you only watch for Sam, you only watch for Sam. That said, the other part is much more frustrating. You don't need to be married or have a significant other to have a happy ending, ffs. Meme had a huge wank on this recently.

I want Sam and Dean both to get happy endings. I think they deserve a good ending not a tragic one after all the shit they've been through but while I like the idea of love interests for both of them, "settled and in love" is not the only way a happy ending can be achieved, especially not for these two.
