I don't think that's a problem of Deancentric fic in particular, though. Maybe there are multi chapter updating Cas fics out there -- I don't really follow Cas fandom -- but I can't think of any that are Samcentric or bibro, either. It just doesn't seem to be the format people are following these days. All the authors I know write either short one shots or long fics posted all at once. I expect that is due to the proliferation of BBs and mini-bangs. There are so many outlets for longer fic that there's just not much longer fic being posted outside challenges.

Either that or I am following all the wrong corners of fandom.
