Dean won't be in Purgatory for long, at least when it comes to screen time. Like in previous years when Sam or Dean have gone to hell, they'll be reunited at the beginning of the season and we'll find out how they spent their time apart later on. We're hearing that fans shouldn't be wondering when Dean gets out of Purgatory -- the real cliffhanger is how he gets out.

I am still peeved that the shirtless pull-ups in S6 were from a different angle in the aired version over the version in the commercial. I want to Sam's "range of motion."

Well, glad I've learned better and never bothered to get my hopes up for Sam finally being the one to bring Dean back! (Unless it's another season of Sam lying to Dean, I guess.)

So far this is sounding like it could be a mashup of the things I liked the least in S4 and S6--flashbacks at a point where I was more interested in what was going to happen instead of what happened half a year ago, and a ~mysterious return~ with its reveal so late even they stopped caring.

Why does Sam not have to know what happened? I take the meaning of the wording to be that the *audience* will be surprised by how it happens, not that Sam and Dean will be.

It seems pretty obvious that this is going to relate to the monster that Dean meets there, and I'm sticking to my theory in the other thread that this monster helps Dean get out and helps him ~learn a lesson~

I just wanted Sam to save Dean so bad. Fuckers.

II'm with you on this one. Dean's just gonna be ashamed that he was helped by a monster so he won't tell Sam and that will be "da big sikrit".

I just hope Dean won't be deeply depressed this season too because that is getting really old.

Who am I kidding, I won't get through the first ep of season 8. All they spoil has already been done, at least twice. :(

Yeah no, I stopped being excited about purgatory as soon as they revealed Dean was going to be in it for like, what, three episodes?

They probably don't want to deal with setting shit months/years in the future. We all know how well that went last time.
