but quality of acting has nothing to do with character traits. jackson can still be a douchebag or an unlikable character and be believable. but in this case it just feels really forced and it throws me off. (I think the same of Scott but I think he's improved ability-wise since season 1)

Death Valley had some good people in it... though I admit, I was watching for the gore and the fun, not the acting. I wonder if that got/will get a 2nd season?
