I remember when I was new into this fandom bussiness a BB was such a huge event that you could say paralized fandom and everyone talked about it, now a BB is just a bunch of fics with art.

yeah well, when I first started with fandom big bang is by invitation only, nothing more than BNF circle jerk. I much prefer it the way it is now.

The original BB (which was in HP fandom) was by invite only. I think that might have carried over into other fandoms, just not SPN's.
