DNW angelpreg. And there are a lot of legal obstacles to Sam and Castiel actually marrying. They can be settled and happy filling out the entire checklist of Norman Rockwell trappings.

Cas can angel whammy them into letting them marry, it's the nesting behavior I am leery of TBQH.

Sleeping in a pile of blankets, pillows and pilfered laundry on the floor might actually be harder on Sam's back than a life on the road was.

and odd pieces of twig too. Sam tries to buy him this:

But Cas just glares at him like he's the most insensitive husband in the world and strolls back to his pile of clothes, Sam has no choice but to follow.

Yeah, I keep trying to formulate a snappy reply, but then I look at the photo and can't think anything but "I've got a spare room!"

if Kripke has a say in the finale at all

...I thought he was completely and utterly separated from the show at this point. Have I got it wrong? Might he have any say about the finale?

He's the ghost that haunts the set.

Kripke always said that he had an "epilogue" in his head about how the show would end. I think it's possible that Carver (or whoever) might talk to him about it, since it is his baby

I wouldn't be surprised if, whenever the final season rolls around, he starts showing up in all their promotional interviews and stuff again, but I haven't seen/heard any evidence he's still involved with the show creatively beyond that "consultant" status. (Maybe if his new project tanks, he'll start popping up again. :P )
