I ask on behalf of a friend, who watches and has no one to talk Fringe with. I tried it and didn't like it, so I'm no use to her.
Is it one of the shows for which TWoP is sane? Is there a Fringe anon meme and is it poisonous? Anyone know who is writing good fic or meta in Fringe fandom?
My friend has never been in online fandom herself, and she doesn't like Spn so I can't get her interested in my corner, but I like the idea of luring her into LJ if there's a good Fringe culture here.
I don't watch Fringe, so I can't answer what the TWoP culture is like, but she could start off reading the recaps to see whether she agrees with the person writing them. The recappers usually share modding duties, so the recaps can give you a good sense of what the forums might be like.
