See, that's exactly my problem. I don't find it good drama. The characters feel very undeveloped to me (I still don't know most of the names, they're just stereotypes). I don't really know anything about most of them, and I don't have much reason to root for them.
And the angst isn't an organic part of the story; the story just stops dead every five minutes for these very dull monologues. Which breaks up the tension on the action scenes and makes a lot of the angst feel un-earned and forced. I keep finding myself playing Angry Birds or checking meme during what should be very heartfelt emotional scenes, I just don't feel them. I'm bored. The pacing is very off, nothing builds, people just wander aimlessly until zombies attack.
