Ok, so we get American Idol in my country, about a week late. Now we're having two rounds at once so that the finale can be live. I'm sorry, but I had to make this complaint. They've eliminated everyone that was interesting, the red beard guy, the autistic rocker dude, the chick with the african dance. Now I'm hearing they're about to eliminate the last interesting person, curly-haired classic rock chick, and what we're left with is this dude who looks like the kid from MAD magazine and this really tacky girl whose voice and style are boring and common place. What is wrong with you, America?? This finale will be a competition to see who I give less of a fuck about. Also the sound table is sabotaging curly haired classic rock chick.

I didn't know they had such influence. I mean, in other years, from what I remember there were better people in the finals. Does anyone really think this chick has a chance of making a career??

iirc, Simon was a lot of the reason that the country was so suppressed (god bless him, COME BACK SIMON). I'm watching the finale performances right now and there's just SO MUCH OF TEH COUNTRY :(

I definitely think Scotty will win, though. If either one does have a career, it will be only on country radio. I doubt there will be any crossover. Which makes me happy because I don't ever want to hear either one of them sing ever again.

That's too bad. But hey, all top 11 will tour, there's a chance one of the others will have something of a career, like Haley, James, Casey, the interesting peeps.
