In my rich European country we vote on paper, too. I thought it was that way around the world?

ayrt

In my country the people who controls those things want to change paper for machine because it would make it better, faster and it would make us look good because great part of US does it so we won't be so poor in US's eyes.

The nonnie airt made it sound like voting on paper is the worst thing in the world only poor countries do it. I'm in a poor country, we vote on paper but we don't take 2 weeks to ge the results like the airt made it sound.

Well, that's a crock of shit in so many different ways. 1) Changing your voting system might make you seem more democratic or something, but it's not going to make you look less poor in the U.S.'s eyes. 2) The vast majority of the U.S. does *not* use entirely paperless voting. A few states do use it, but a few states also ban it. Here's a state by state map of what is used: http://www.verifiedvoting.org/
