Finally saw the 6th season and damn. They're really going there.

I'm surprised that they finally bit the bullet and had Deb find out, tbh. But beyond that, holy shit, I can't believe they actually did the incest thing. I'm still sorting out my thoughts on how I feel about that but as of right now I kinda hate it. It doesn't make sense at all and I really don't know how they're going to sustain the relationship for the next two seasons (which is when it's supposed to end). Thoughts?
I've only seen the first season of Dexter, but IIRC, they're not blood related. So it's not really incest, a la Jamie and Cersei or something. Either way, though, I think it's a horrible idea.
They pretty much grew up together though. I just looked up 'incest' on webster and it was defined as "sexual intercourse between persons so closely related that they are forbidden by law to marry; also : the statutory crime of such a relationship." Nothing there about blood relations. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
I don't have Showtime, so I don't see each season until the DVDs come out. I can't imagine how it could be possible that Deb and Dexter moved toward a exual relationship in one season.
Dexter didn't, just Deb. She went to a weirdo therapist who told her she had the hots for her brother and she should really go for it. It was pretty WTF-worthy.
