Yeah, that's it. I use the No-Poo every five to eight days, and that's all. When you wash your hair every day, you're really just conditioning it to need to be washed every day. Part of the reason your hair gets oily quickly could simply be because you wash it too often. Keep in mind, though, if you start to cut down on your washes (which I would recommend; it can seriously help the condition of your hair) your hair is probably going to do through a detox period where it'll be pretty oily. Scarves help, lol.

Is Wen the first cleansing conditioner you've used? That is, when you tried CO before, was it with standard conditioner? If so, you might wanna give DevaCurl a shot. The No-Poo is also a cleansing conditioner, and my guess would be that'd be pretty close to Wen.

I just checked Amazon, and you can get a 32oz bottle of the No-Poo for $28. I do use a regular conditioner on the ends of my hair in addition to the No-Poo, though.

holy shit, No-Poo is a product?? I thought it was a method, of using no shampoo. I've been "no-poo" for a few years now but I guess there's something new to learn every day!

I haven't tried conditioner only (haven't used either shampoo or conditioner for a few years) but if I remember correctly it's important to use conditioner with no silicones in it. More info can be found on the naturalliving and the naturalskin communities on lj, and of course, no_poo!
