It would have been just as easy to advertise springfling and for the mods to be like "hey, flist, lets go bring more D/C to this challenge!" instead of being like "everybody hates Cas!" and starting their own. The main gist is that this challenge was started because a few people thought their ship was being slighted. No one is blaming the unwitting authors that might have participated in said challenge without knowing the wanky origins
