I'm new to tumblr, anons. Anyone got an recommendations for interesting tumblrs to follow? Spn/other fandom related/art/interior design (guilty secret) in particular?

So I'm writing my curriculum vitae in English and I'm having so problems. This CV is needed to apply to my internship and I have to write that I'm in my last semester but I don't know how to write it. Could you help me?
Do I say: I'm a student of last semester of Environmental Engineering? Is that okay?

I am currently in my (INSERT YEAR, ie fourth) and final year of an Environmental Engineering Degree with (INSERT UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE HERE). I expect to graduate (INSERT DATE) with a Degree in (INSERT WHATEVER HERE).
That's how I've got it written on my CV, but of course, edit in your own UNI/COURSE/WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY GRADUATE WITH/LENGTH OF COURSE etc etc.

Well, okay, I'm here being nosy. I don't know how much help I can be, though because I'm ESL and things may run differently in your country.
But if you are in your last semester, don't you have a Student's Section or a course coordinator, something or someone you can go to get help with this? AFAIK all universities are prepared to help students with things like this. Personally I think stating your course (or however you call it where you live) and that you're in the last semester is fine.
You should really get the opinion of a professor or coordinator though if you think this could get in the way of you getting the internship. Good luck!

Diana Wynne Jones has died. I didn't read her books as a kid, I came across them in college, and they are the kind of children's books that benefit enormously from being read or reread with an adult understanding. There's so much going on behind the sheer fun. She did have a tendency to wildly snowballing plots that didn't always wrap up very well, and she had some pacing issues, but the Chrestomanci books, Howl's Moving Castle, Power of Three, and several others will always be in my list of formative books.
Aw, no. I'm reading Howl's Moving Castle right now, and it's so fantastic. I thought I loved the movie, but the book is a hundred times more interesting. :((( How sad.

Taking it here because this isn't directly fandom related or gossip related, but I honestly miss the days where OVA didn't post on spn_g. There hasn't been a week where he hasn't sought wank, argued with QAM, or said things that just plain left a bitter taste in my mouth.
I used to not understand people who said fans were ruining the show for them, but OVA is doing just that for me. I got to fandom before I got into the show, and even after the anvilicious meta episodes I could still see Sam and Dean and think "OK, good actors, they are fictitious, and ohhh tinhat!". Now, all I see when I think about Show is Jared and Jensen and their big gay conspiracy, and feel like the most pathetic voyeur that ever voyeured.
