After spending some time staring at the not-actually-a-summary, trying to decide whether to bookmark this one for future reading, I said "fuck it" and just read it now.

It's quick read. A pretty straightforward domestic bliss fic, with very little angst. If anything, everything comes a bit too easy, but I was in the mood for a fic of that sort. The supernatural element is clever and pretty well-handled.

If you require a strong Sam presence in your D/C this is probably not the fic for you. While I thought Dean missing Sam was handled fairly well in the very last chapter, it doesn't really come up before then, and I bet that would be a deal-breaker for some.

Well-written, light rom-com. Its a nice sweet read, nothing earth shattering, but fun without the OTT schmoop in so much D/C.

There's quite a bit of funny - I really liked Cas's sense of humor in this & some of the cultural digs (Dean gets a toaster from his bank, Cas complaining that people run away from him when he tries to have sex with them). Nice little plot twist at the end.

You know, thanks to the excitement, anticipation and build-up from meme, I've come to think of Big Bang (the main one, the DCBB, ReverseBB, all of the above) as being big fannish events. That's rather skewed my perception and expectation of Big Bang fics which, I now belatedly realize, is completely unfair for writers, especially when they're not out to write an Epic Adventure, or an Epic Romance, or an Epic Fusion Universe. Sometimes a long fic is just a fic that is long, and doesn't have to be something that challenges fandom conventions, or tries something new, or break your heart into itty-bitty pieces.

Yeah, so this fic was simple, light, sweet and delightfully funny, with a claustrophobic set-up that isn't all that claustrophobic at all thanks to the domesticity that sneaks up on the characters. (I had flashbacks to bauble's Welcome to Oz series at some points, but this story has a completely different tone and focus.)

One minor caveat, and this is purely a personal preference: I am very tired of fic that have Castiel being repeatedly confused by Dean and humanity. Very tired. That is all.

I liked this one! It's gentle, funny, and the slow-build domesticity was sweet. After that earlier DCBB where the central mystery of why Dean was de-aged, it was especially satisfying that this author had a clever reason for Dean & Castiel being trapped.

Some minor SPAG errors and I wish Castiel had been less "why are my eyes leaking" in parts, but not enough to put me off the fic. I'm smiling after reading it.

(ooo, captcha has "&hearts" symbol!)

Also, I love that the author referenced Sharyn McCrumb.

This was good. Really good. It's post-S5 D/C curtain!fic, and if that turns your crank you should definitely read this. I noticed four or five homonyns in the very last part. Don't know if that part was just less picked over, or if I missed earlier typos, but I didn't care by then. Cas becomes a theo prof, which is a boring choice, but not as boring as english teacher, so I can overlook it. Anyway, I thought this was very well done, an excellent example of being sweet without falling into saccharine. The plot and characterizations both made sense. It's just a great, gentle, heart-warming read.

Beautiful line drawing of Cas. However, Dean's face is just not right. Other than that, though, it is wonderful. Especially like in the second pic where the tips of Cas' fingers are burning.

Agreed. Both drawings are really good Cas.
