Summary: The Winchesters are forces of change, often for the worse, and Neal Caffrey knows this better than most. Still, when Sam and Dean show up in his home twenty years after Neal fakes his death to get out of the hunting life, he can’t turn them away. Not even when their latest hunt puts him directly at odds with Peter and the rest of the FBI. Because, sometimes, change can be good.

The art is different. A part of me likes it, the other part thinks it looks a little lazy. I'm not sure why the artist went with that style, because the taped-together look doesn't really have a match from the fanfic.

Overall, I liked the fanfic. The ending is sad, though. I wasn't expecting that. I'm also still torn on if the D/C relationship was really necessary.

The art is interesting as a departure from the standard photoshopping technique but if someone were to use it more often, it would get boring pretty fast. Another thing: this art tells me absolutely nothing about the fic - it almost seems as if the artist didn't bother to read it, just made a collage with SPN characters and some White Collar ones, and added some quotes at random.

As for the story: I enjoyed it but not without reservations. Peter's and El's comments about Neal being like their son didn't ring true to their characters, IMO. Also, the way Neal's hunter past was added seemed a tad pasted on. Overall, if you enjoy Dean and Dean pairings, you should like this one just fine. If you're more Sam focused, this might not be a fic for you.
