Yeah, it's cute, in a dashed-off kind of way. I'd have liked more explanation of why, if Castiel is so worried about keeping Dean alive and healthy, he doesn't just heal him, or at the least forehead-tap him into deep healing sleep, instead of flitting off to steal someone else's prescription ibuprofen.

I would find it extremely creepy if Castiel went around putting people to sleep against their will. I suppose he could have offered to see if Dean said yes, but just doing it without permission? No.

But zapping Dean without permission was the norm for Castiel in Season 4.

What is your point? The author should have had Castiel transport him to some time in the future when people don't get colds? Do you understand how h/c works?

My comment was meant to illustrate that Castiel in Season 4 did things without Dean's permission when he believed it served a purpose, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he'd zap Dean to sleep if he thought it would help Dean get better faster. Human kindness isn't Castiel's strong suit.

My comment isn't an insult to the fic, which I know exactly what it's doing.
