Did you read the comment you responded to? Jared stealing the fruit for Pac Man and digging in the garden for Dig Dug.

Helpful explanation: these are ways in which it was present that weren't the pictures, title, or summary! In the actual fax prose and actions of the fic! Maybe it's not ~deeply metaphorical, it's just Jared eating an apple, but I think it was cute, and it's just a fluffy short fic insured by videogames. *hands* It's more imaginative than a fic where Jared and Jensen make out whilst playing a videogame, ffs!

Uh-huh. This is pretty clear: The arcade theme was only present by virtue of the pictures, the title and the summary.

and it's also pretty plainly wrong in ways I just described.

Unless you think that the fact they didn't actually play videogames!!!! was a heinous unforgivable misuse of the plot, becuase people may only take thigns literally.

AYRT Where are you getting that I wanted them to play videogames? That's a bizarre leap to make.

If the pictures, title and summary weren't there, you would never have known that the fruit and the digging were related is what I'm saying.

DA. But they ARE there, so it all works out pretty well. Who cares what the fic would be like if it were completely different?
