I am confused about the vampire thing. I only skimmed most of this, but I thought they weren't vampires but that they just liked to drink blood. Jensen said vampires weren't real and they didn't have fangs or anything. Did it ever mention them living forever or anything like that?

It didn't mention them living forever or anything. But how I interpreted what Jensen was saying is that Jared should forget about what he thinks he knows about vampires, because it's just Hollywood stuff. Not that Jensen wasn't a supernatural creature. But I could be wrong. I skimmed, too. This fic was kind of boring.

I went to read this simply because of these comments and... I'm confused as well. I don't think they're vampires. I skimmed the entire thing but yeah, it seems like the whole drinking blood thing was more of a rite of passage than actually becoming a vampire (which Jensen did say weren't real)
