I think you're allowed to air opinions on their chops if their work belongs to the 60% of this fandom's writing that the ayrt considers crap. Otherwise, no, you're being ungrateful. Unless you can prove you're a better writer. Then it's okay.

I can't believe you can still ship them after what food did to Dean in Mystery Spot, Wishful Thinking and any number of other episodes. You foodpologists disgust me.

HDU! Dean loves food! And he's obviously forgiven it for however it might have "wronged" him in the past--he doesn't harbor a grudge, so why do you? People like you only want to blame food for something that clearly the fault of higher powers (hello! Tricksters and magic coins? I could go on) and stand in the way of true love. TRUE LOVE.

I suppose you're a Dean/alcohol lover who likes how sloppy and desperate Dean gets around the presence of a good bottle. That's not love, that's hoping to dull the pain gained from being kept away from food! While I do admit that there is something appealing about having an adorably drunk Dean agreeably passed out on the bed ~~and completely molestable because of it~~, not even you can deny the sheer joy that crosses Dean's face when he lets a chunk of hamburger ~~or other, plump, thick meat~~ slip past his lips!

As a Dean/alcohol/food shipper, I always get sad during these arguments.

Jeez, Dean chews food up and digests it. If food occasionally fights back against such an abusive relationship, I say more power to food.

Right. And alcohol always abuses Dean despite how much money he spends on it--bring about hangovers, headaches and occasional vomiting after suckering him in with the happy funtimes of that temporary buzz.

Oh, please. Just because Dean spends a lot of money on alcohol doesn't mean alcohol owes him anything. Besides Dean knew the possible consequences from the start. He's not exactly a teetotaler, if you know what I mean.

Oh, just because he sucks it down like it's going out of style and often goes out in search for it (looking like he does, I mean, jfc, just asking for it, right?), that means that he deserves it? He doesn't know what he wants and alcohol has no right to treat him like that just because he's not strong enough to say no and walk away from a good shot!

I'm really more of a Cas/Food shipper now, actually. I mean, Dean literally shoved food at Cas in My Bloody Valentine. I know he's not the most attentive of lovers, but what's wrong with a good Cas/Food, Dean/Alcohol fic? Everyone has someone.

And what's Sam supposed to have, huh? Salad? Salad doesn't love anybody. Maybe Sam just ought to take it up with his shoes. Shoes always treat you right. Unless you lose them.

Hey, Dean tried to set Sam up with some real food. If Sam keeps turning it down, he doesn't deserve any, does he? And we all know how he treats shoes. Maybe he should just go back to demon blood if he wants it so bad. I mean, it's sick, but that's the best he's ever treated any sort of semi edible thing. Did you see their passion? Dirtybadwrong, man. Dirtybadwrong.

It all comes down to politics, really... and possibly health concerns. I'm not saying that every non-eater becomes under nourished... but you must admit, there is a suspiciously big correlation, whatever political correctness suggests.

At least we can agree on Bobby/peach cobbler, right?

Peach cobbler has never seemed that interested in Bobby to me. He pines after it, he prepares to cut it, he buys vanilla ice cream, but it just sits there in the casserole dish, indifferent.

You say indifferent, I say waiting patiently. Bobby has a lot of demands on his time and a multitude of ~~whining, bickering boys to calm down~~ issues. Peach cobbler waits through them, hoping that one day he will be ready to fully embrace their relationship.

But...but Bobby/peach cobbler is so tragic. I don't like unhappy endings. ;___;

...This is where fandom takes over, nonnie. :( I prefer to think that, after the cameras stopped rolling and after Bobby got everything sorted out AGAIN, he enjoyed the heck out of peach cobbler. I mean, just dove in face first, licking and sucking and his beard probably got all messy but that was okay because he knew that their time was limited.

In the past, sure. Peach cobbler was an important part of making Bobby who he is today, and I would never take that away. But there are other foods. I was really excited by the hints of Bobby/leeks in "My Heart Will Go On," and I'd like to see more of it. I think it shows that Bobby is ready for a new relationship, and that it would make him (and his heart) happier.
