I thought all of this was well done.

So i like this up until the last five mins (i'm listening to the podfic). The relationship between jo and madison was really sweet, and well written. I thought they were adorable together.

But wtf happened with the ending? Now I don't think Dean/Cas/Sam are perfect. But why did they become the vilians? This made no sense. So I went from really liking this fic to really disliking it. Also I'm not really sure why Jo was rebelling if it's a Cas controlled heaven.

I wouldn't say they're villains, exactly, just that they have different goals. Cas is controlling Heaven (but they don't know that until the end, do they?) but that doesn't mean they have to like it. It's still boring and restrictive. And I think it makes sense that Jo would be pissed Dean and Sam are working for the man, now.

Did you read the mising scene?

I did read the missing scene (or it was part of the audiobook). i did like the allusion (sp?) to Dean/Cas's kinky sex life. I wonder how long Dean and Sam were up in heaven? Yeah she had a right to be pissed, but i think it was annoying that they didn't really let either Winchesters defend themselves. If their first entrance was just after the end of the missing scene, then they weren't really up there all that long. Did Cas bring them up there to talk them out of expanding the roadhouse? Why didn't he do that in the first place? Surely Cas knows enough about humanity by this point to at least trying to rationalize with them.

Maybe it was jarring because I thought this was set in s5, so I was expecting a rebellion against Raphael, to help stop the Apocalypse? I guess i didn't really get a sense that things were so bad (boring, yes).

I'm listening to the fanfix now (and for the other femslashbbs if they have them). I really like this one. It's a bunch of cool folky pop songs and some cool rock songs, which i like. I think it fits the fic pretty well.
