I skipped over a lot of this, there's plenty of extraneous parts in there. Sure, you can tell that Dean showered and put on clothes, but why? Does it help the plot? Make character motivations clearer?
The writing's simplistic like that, which doesn't have to be a bad thing, but this fic could've used a sharper knife in cutting down the extra fat and replace it with more writing that describes Dean and Castiel's personalities, and the way they respond to each other (their first meeting was disappointing with its lack of chemistry). As it is, this fic's a lot of telling and convenient conversations to get to the hook-up endgame.
