(Anonymous) 2010-10-19 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)He was right on the edge of it for me in this one - any more time spent on that (and less on the sex), or anything a tad more vitriolic, and I wouldn't have continued reading. I also appreciated that Sam and Cas responded appropriately (you bigoted little prick, etc) instead of just ignoring it, and that it was framed as Dean being a closet case, basically. I know it is probably realistic that canon!Dean would be homophobic (whether he was actually gay/bi or not), but this is fanfic, and I get enough homophobia as it is in the real world.
