Most of the time I don't really get the endless squeeing over cherie_morte, but this is easily the best thing I've ever read by her. I rather enjoyed it.

Great story, I really thought this worked well. The writer created a very convincing version of Narnia, and yet managed to have a completely original story. The characters all worked well in their chosen parts, and the plot was well thought out. Like the other nonnie, I've not been a particular fan of this writer before, this is probably the best they've ever written.

And it was really nice to see a story of this length in this challenge, quite a few of the others have seemed a bit on the short side.

IA with all of this, it was a good, meaty length (Snerk!) I really enjoyed it.

I thought it was a tiny bit repetitive in a few places, but overall really good. Loved the "meet cute" in the grocery store - it felt like a fresh take on one of those overused tropes.

Really enjoyed this one. Like other nonnies have said, it had a flavor of Narnia while still be an original story. Some of cherie_morte's other stories have been hit or miss for me (she often goes for a sort of omniscient third person metanarrator POV thingie that I find incredibly annoying) but she's definitely a good writer and she uses her abilities very well here. Great job.

Haven't read the fic yet. Reading it now.

I like the art. They did a good job of creating movie posters that fit the style of the movie art for the Narnia films.

Finished the fic. Didn't really like it. I prefer their other stuff more (my fav is still their j2_ea fic). It seemed to lack the charm of their other stuff. I found most of it kinda fun to read, but then the last part just seemed off. And the reason for them going back home, just seemed odd. I know that the children have to leave Narnia after the adventures finished, but the reason usually makes more sense. It didn't here. I stopped reading at the end, once Jared,Gen,Jensen went back to the real world.

anon who posted right above you.

Was thr j2_ea one the Up fusion? Because I found that totally unreadable. I guess everyone else really liked it, but I read the first page and went "wtf is this? is there a story here?" and gave up.

Yeah, it was. There isn't really a story there. It was an odd fic, which was why i liked it.

I really loved this one. It was a lot of fun, and very convincing. I kinda adored that Danneel and Gen were the warriors, and that Danneel was the ultimate authority figure. That was very cool. The world-building/expanding worked really well for me. Overall, super enjoyable read!
