This is not the High School AU you were looking for. There isn't anything the least bit schmoopy about it.

It was very good, though. No Supernatural, but John's still a deadbeat. He leaves Sam and Dean alone for two months in one town, and Dean feels like he's about to jump out of his skin, having to stay in one place so long. Very atmospheric, I liked it.
