By that, I mean stories that appear to be doing (or attempting to do) something different with a common trope, something you've never seen done before, something wildly original, something with fascinating worldbuilding, etc.
Multishipper here, although I don't really like to read S/D, so S/D recs would have to be super extremely interesting and original.
