Some time ago someone linked me to a fabulous e-book sharing community that now seems to have disappeared. I just finished GoT 1.10 and now have a GREAT need to find out what happens next and would love to be able to find the books on an electronic format somewhere.

I'm thinking of starting to use AO3, but I'm wondering what is the usual thing to do when you start over there. Do you go back and archive everything you've ever written or do you start with your new stuff, and just leave the old stuff off?

AO3 has a backdate option, btw, if you don't want to flood the first page of your fandom with your old fics.

I've started importing over my old stuff but only up to a certain date or only the stuff I'm particularly proud of (you know, leave the stuff that didn't quite...uh, work behind). Personally, too, I'm also focusing on the smaller fandoms that I've written for as they're much more likely to be found on AO3 than they are buried in my livejournal.
Start with the new stuff. I basically try to add one old story every time I add a story.

The New York state senate is voting tonight on whether to legalize gay marriage. If they pass it, the governor has promised to sign the bill. I'm not sure how the vote is going to go. *crosses fingers*

I'm really, really hoping for a win this time.
New York State Senate voting on same-sex marriage bill sometime tonight. Not American either, but glued to the livestream. Would double the number of same-sex couples who could marry in the US. Has been in limbo for awhile, and is very tight. Might even tie.
