Against Pollution (for takadainmate), R http://community.livejournal.com/deancastiel/2315482.html

Party Like It's 1999 (for hobbleit), PG-13 http://community.livejournal.com/deancastiel/2316768.html

The Circlet (for a dropout), NC-17 http://community.livejournal.com/deancastiel/2316847.html

Pollution - I didn't finish it, tbh. Dean's voice seemed off. I read it up to the scene where-in Dean tries to lure Castiel away from Sam (some time after Cas talks to a frog), but the dialogue sounded so not-Deanish that I stopped. Might still make a second go at it at one point - hypothermia! - but not right now.

Party makes me jealous of the author's skill, srsly. The kiss scene was just so beautiful.

Circlet- read this one all the way to the end, but the sex scene(s) didn't do it for me. I mean this is YMMV, but Dean's aggression the first time they had sex - alcohol or no - turned me off. Part of the prompt, I guess, but it made me sadface. Bad D:ean, no cookie. On a purely stylistic level the writing was good, although the second half seemed... not rushed exactly, more like a draft that didn't get the same amount of polish the first half did (+ a few SPAG issues), and the character interactions didn't read true to me. On a more positive note, gotta agree with one of the reviews: I liked the structure.
