Maybe? I don't remember that personally, but I'll take your word for it. But it felt more like the author wanted to nitpick at Christianity than have something that fit into the narrative.
Supernatural has indirectly said that the Bible is wrong on a few occasions. They talk about how Luke was a prophet who was more of an oddball than Chuck and Chuck admits to leaving certain things out of what was supposed to become the next high holy texts. And it's not like Revelation came true, certainly. But all of that fits within the narrative and it's directed at Sam and Dean, not the audience of a talk time show.
I don't know, it just felt like the author got up more on her soapbox than anything else. It didn't work for me.
